WhenI am using my AC adapter it only shows the percentage and it doesnt even says thats its charging but only PLUGGED IN.. HelloI just got a Lenovo - 330S-15ARR and battery is at 97%. The battery icon says plugged in and charging I have no idea why this happens or should I be concerned. Based on what little I read normally it says not charging but mine its it is charging I dont want to do anything stupid. What Remove the battery off the laptop then connect just the AC adapter and see if it will stay on. - While the laptop is on put the battery back in and see if it will charge normally. - Do also try doing a battery calibration that may also help.

Shutdownand remove the external, then stick a paperclip in the Reset Hole under a few times, then push/hold it in for 20 seconds straight. That should reset the EC and battery, if that doesn't work there may be an issue with the battery or worst case motherboard. But to test that you can do a Battery Reset on the Internal to see if it works

Disconnectthe adapter and check if the battery begins discharging. Restart the system and press f2 key to enter BIOS - check the adapter status in BIOS with and without the adapter plugged in. Also, wiggle the adapter cable at the end and see if the status changes in BIOS at any point. byNu.
